Another Quick Update

Amy and Derrick took a weekend in Kansas City on the 13th and 14th of March. They ran in the Westport St. Patrick's day 4mile run and had a lot of fun. They then spent time in KC eating seafood and shopping. Good times were had by all!

Supper at Joe's Crab Shack

Glen is about to get his most recent tooth through (we hope). He has really been struggling with this one (and so have his mommy and daddy). He got new shoes over break. Size 8 wide. Yeah. Big feet on the boy.

"Derrick and Amy, you've just completed the Westport 4 mile run. What are you going to do next?"

"WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!"

That's right! Derrick, Amy, and Glen are going to Florida again this summer! We're going for a week in June with Derrick's parents to a condo in New Smyrna Beach. While we're there, we will go to Disney World for a day and see "Mouse" and "Buss" (according to Glen).

This means we are not going to Colorado to do the runs we had planned. This is mainly due to Derrick's dad having a pacemaker put in over spring break. He is doing well, but it throws off the running schedule, so the Colorado trip will have to wait for another year. Oh well. The mountains will still be there. Amy and Derrick are still looking at doing the River Run 10K in May and possibly the Wichita 1/2 Marathon in October.
